Have you ever wondered how your Sydney Morning Herald is printed? If technology, robotics and precision machinery fascinate you, this exclusive subscribers’ tour of Fairfax Printers, Chullora (near Bankstown) on Saturday July 25 will get you buzzing.
This is a rare opportunity to see one of the most advanced printing plants in the world, where giant robot cranes store and retrieve huge reels of paper to feed 27-metre high presses. This tour costs $15 a head and will be exclusively for Herald subscribers. Expert tour guides will make this an informative and entertaining experience.
