| Dinner at Bistrode CBD |

Fans of Jeremy and Jane Strode’s acclaimed Surry Hills eatery Bistrode can now get their Strode fix in the city, where Jeremy has joined forces with Merivale Group, owner of Hotel CBD at 52 King Street, to open Bistrode CBD.
Bistrode CBD will feature cuisine similar to Bistrode’s modern British food, but the menu will be more extensive, giving Jeremy a chance to stretch his culinary legs. He’ll offer such delights as black sausage, organic egg & bacon salad for starters, a succulent five-hour lamb shoulder and lavender for four, and a steamed ginger and marmalade pudding for dessert. (Bistrode will stay open, run by the magnificent Jane.)
Herald subscribers will have a chance to sample the new menu at an exclusive Bistrode CBD dinner on September 21, from 6.30pm. With Strode manning the pans, three courses and a glass of bubbly will be a tasty bargain at just $75. Secure your place now by phoning (02) 9240 3000. Booking is essential as there are just 70 seats available.
The nominal closing date is September 21, but we recommend you book immediately to avoid disappointment.
