| IQ2 Debates 2010 |
 |
| |
The 2010 series of IQ² debates has just commenced, and you are invited to buy season tickets at special Herald subscriber rates.
IQ² occupies a unique position in Sydney’s social and intellectual landscape. It is the only institution in town - aside from Parliament - to provide a forum for debate on crucial issues of the day. Unlike Parliament, however, its debates are consistently exciting, witty, provocative and comfortable – and you can have your say too at the City Recital Hall, Angel Place!
The topics presented by the St James Ethics Centre for debate this season include: • The pursuit of happiness is making us miserable • The Senate is still unrepresentative swill • Governments should not censor the internet • Only capitalism can save the planet • We’d be better off without our armed forces
Herald subscribers can reserve their tickets through the City Recital Hall booking office. Packages available until April 13 are seven IQ2 debates at $175 (usually $l89) and six debates at $150 (usually $162). There is no limit on numbers, if you want to make group bookings.
For dates of all 2010 Debates please go to www.iq2.com.
