Herald subscribers will enjoy exclusive two-for-one entry to Take Your Time, an exhibition of Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson’s experiments in light and space at the Museum of Contemporary Art throughout March. Immerse yourself in a rainbow, lose yourself in a kaleidoscope!
Take your time: Olafur Eliasson brings together works from major collections around the world, spanning the artist’s diverse career from 1993 to the present, including installations, sculpture and photography. Eliasson’s experiential work draws inspiration from Iceland’s confronting landscape and spectacular weather to explore the intersection between nature and science and the boundary between organic and artificial. This is art that can shift the viewer’s consciousness and sense of place.
This is the first large-scale exhibition in Australia by the artist behind the hugely successful Weather Project installation in London’s Tate Modern, and the New York City Waterfalls Project. Take your time is showing only in Sydney, until April 11. Don’t miss this chance to see breathtaking work by one of contemporary art’s greatest innovators.
To redeem this two-for-one offer present your Herald subscription number at the MCA ticket desk. Complimentary tickets will be issued to equivalent or lesser value of those purchased. For more information see the exhibition website.
Terms and conditions: Offer valid from March 1 to 31 only. Museum opens every day, 10am to 5pm. Regular prices are adults $15, children 12 and under free, children 13 to 17, students and concessions $10.
