The wildest offer you’ll get this month is two-for-one entry for Herald subscribers to the Australian Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 exhibition. You’ll be captivated by stunning images of big cats fighting, raptors hovering and chilling landscapes.
More than 90 dramatic images have been selected from over 42,000 international entries showing the power, mystique and beauty of nature as captured through the photographer’s lens.
Photographers of all ages are invited to bring along their own cameras to take photos in the fully equipped interactive studio space where you can photograph live spiders, snails and insects. The facilities allow you to get up close with micro and macro shots and learn useful tips and tricks to improve your own wildlife photography. To keep the under-fives happy, there’s a special camouflaged bird-hide to explore.
Present your subscriber number at the Australian Museum reception when buying tickets and you’ll receive one free ticket to equal or lesser value for every paid ticket. Offer valid until the end of the season, April 26.
The museum is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm at 6 College Street, Sydney. For more information see the museum website or phone (02) 9320 6000.
Terms and conditions: This offer is not valid for family ticket purchases and cannot be redeemed at Australian Museum special events. Savings vary per ticket. Usual general admission pricing is adult $17, child $9 and concession $12. |
