Winter's Discontent

If you love great theatre you will adore Winter’s Discontent, a revealing, funny and moving one-act play at the Darlinghurst Theatre, Potts Point, reflecting on an actor’s joy and despair in the face of the eternal truth that the show must go on.

Written and performed by William Zappa, it has been hailed as a tour de force, with The Sydney Morning Herald saying “[Zappa’s] powers of physical characterisation are amazing”.

Herald subscribers joining Zappa’s character Robert Winter backstage in his dressing room on Thursday, August 12, to share his thoughts on his mid-career crisis, can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and an after-show Q&A with Zappa, hosted by the Wharf Revue’s Jonathan Biggins.

Tickets to Winter’s Discontent will be available from July 28 until all seats are sold.

Tickets are available from the box office on (02) 9331 3107 or online at www.darlinghursttheatre.com. Make sure if you are attending the August 12th performance and the Q&A afterwards that you bring your subscriber number with you.

Capacity for this exclusive subscriber performance is limited to 90 seats, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
